2020, I started my <strong>internship at Rebecca Adventure Travel<\/strong>. It was part of my <strong>bachelor&#8217;s course in Tourism Management<\/strong> at Inholland University, located in <strong>the Netherlands<\/strong>. After I applied, I researched <strong>Ecuador<\/strong> and quickly fell in love with it. The country is so small but has <strong>so much to offer<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an intern, I worked in the <strong>Marketing<\/strong> department, <strong>writing and translating blog posts<\/strong>. I was also in charge of the <strong>after-sales<\/strong> department and <strong>analyzed questionnaires<\/strong> filled in by travelers. The <strong>team<\/strong> at Rebecca Adventure Travel was<strong> very friendly<\/strong> and <strong>welcoming<\/strong>. I felt at home and <strong>learned a lot<\/strong> in a short time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My internship was meant to last until July 2020, but because of COVID-19, I had to leave halfway through March. Because of this, I have not seen a lot of the country yet, but this gives me a <strong>great reason to return<\/strong>! I am still in contact with some members of the team and would love to meet them again. This <strong>internship<\/strong> was <strong>very valuable<\/strong> to me, and I am <strong>thankful<\/strong> for my time in Ecuador with Rebecca Adventure Travel. I was studying <strong>Tourism <\/strong><strong>Management<\/strong>, and I did an <strong>internship at Rebecca Adventure Travel<\/strong>. With no expectations and no knowledge about this country, I stepped on the plane and jumped into this adventure.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am really happy I went to this country, and very thankful to this company because they gave me the <strong>chance<\/strong> to <strong>explore this culture<\/strong> and see all of the <strong>beautiful landmarks<\/strong> there are in Ecuador. I learned a lot during my internship, and experienced moments, people, and a foreign country like I had never done before. Without Rebecca Adventure Travel, I wouldn&#8217;t have been able to <strong>explore so much<\/strong> and get <strong>so much knowledge<\/strong> about this country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I worked with a very new team of <strong>enthusiastic young people<\/strong>. I chose to do an <strong>internship<\/strong> in a foreign country because I wanted to <strong>experience a different culture<\/strong>. <strong>Ecuador<\/strong> was my <strong>first choice<\/strong> because a good friend of mine was born there and had so many good things to say about it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My internship was in the <strong>marketing department<\/strong> of the company. I had to take care of <strong>social media<\/strong>, write <strong>blogs<\/strong>, edit the <strong>website<\/strong>, and so on! I loved creating blogs and content for social media because I like to be <strong>creative<\/strong>. You will <strong>never get bored<\/strong> in this internship because there are always new tasks to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also gave me the possibility to <strong>travel a lot<\/strong>. I have been to <strong>Otavalo<\/strong> and <strong>Cuyabeno<\/strong> (Amazon) with Rebecca Adventure Travel. Cuyabeno was my <strong>favorite experience<\/strong> of my whole trip to Ecuador!
