We are making our preparations for the months of July and December, which are the busiest months in our travel operations. First, with the team, we recharge our batteries in an exciting FAM trip (Familiarization trip) around the Chimborazo Volcano. This month, we created new tours focusing on transformational tourism, regenerative travel, and female-only travel. Let me also tell you how we celebrated Andres&#8217; 37th birthday: we took a short break from traveling and threw a big party! This year, we decided to travel around the <a title=\"Andes Mountain Hotels\" href=\"https:\/\/rebeccaadventuretravel.com\/ecuador\/hotels\/andes\/\">Andes<\/a>. We&nbsp;started very early at <strong>Hacienda Papagayo<\/strong> with a delicious buffet breakfast. After this, we drove down to the <strong>Chimborazo Volcano<\/strong>! The volcano was amazing and we couldn\u2019t find a single cloud in the sky. After that, we went even further south to <strong>Guamote,<\/strong> an indigenous village where <a title=\"EcuaFina: The First Travel Concept Store in NL\" href=\"https:\/\/rebeccaadventuretravel.com\/ecuafina-travel-concept-store\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EcuaFina<\/a> supports the local school &amp; workshop. They offered us the famous local dish, <a title=\"Cuy Ecuadorian Dishes\" href=\"https:\/\/storyteller.travel\/cuy-pork-cuenca-ecuador\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">CUY<\/a>! Also, they give us a little tour around the local farm where they have all kinds of <strong>medicinal herbs<\/strong> and the principal vegetables they sell to the town. We wandered around this amazing <strong>hotel museum<\/strong> <strong>style<\/strong>, every hallway was like a time journey across different kinds of furniture in the <strong>historical tour<\/strong>. After the social distance due to the pandemic, it was time to launch a <strong>big party at home<\/strong>. We wanted to go big so we invited about 150 people among friends and family into our garden. At the party, we had a great culinary experience with Edwin our <strong>favorite Ecuadorian chef<\/strong> part of <a title=\"TripAdvisor - Altamira Experience\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tripadvisor.es\/Restaurant_Review-g294308-d11674384-Reviews-Altamira_Gastronomic_Experience_Restaurant_Cooking_class-Quito_Pichincha_Provinc.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Altamira Experience<\/a>. They delighted us with some <strong>high-cuisine bites<\/strong>, all had a perfect seasoning. Part of the attraction also was the <strong>signature cocktails show<\/strong> that they had prepared and it was on all night. For the party music, we invited a <strong>salsa band<\/strong> which is very popular here in <a title=\"Ecuador Highlights Tours\" href=\"https:\/\/rebeccaadventuretravel.com\/ecuador\/highlights-tours\/\">Ecuador<\/a>. In the Netherlands, the ANVR is the most famous <strong>association for travel agencies<\/strong>, this means that the company upholds the high standards of professionalism and quality. Where you can camp in a very <strong>comfortable way<\/strong>. We stayed in <strong>Palumbo<\/strong> where you have some lagoons, horses, sheep, rabbits, and guinea pigs. The <strong>kids loved<\/strong> to navigate on their small boats in the lagoon. The boats have electric motors and good life vests so the kids can navigate by themselves. The <strong>tents<\/strong> all had a shower, toilet, small kitchen, and a BBQ. We also did a horse ride with the kids, they loved it!! From <strong>Cayambe,<\/strong> you can go on day trips to Lago San Pablo, Otavalo, Cotacachi, or Ibarra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adventure Travel Trade Association &#8211; Bogota Trade Show<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To finish the month I participated in the <a title=\"Blog &amp; News\" href=\"https:\/\/rebeccaadventuretravel.com\/blogs-news\/\">Adventure Travel Trade Show in Bogota<\/a> (ATTA NEXT). With 150 participants from all over <strong>North &amp; South America<\/strong>, I was able to promote our <a title=\"Boutique DMC Ecuador and Galapagos\" href=\"https:\/\/rebeccaadventuretravel.com\/boutique-dmc-ecuador-galapagos\/\">B2B Boutique DMC services<\/a>.
